Susanna Williams joined EBCAP in November 2024 as the leader of the People Operations team. In her role, she steers recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee experience, policy development, progressive discipline, and talent strategy.

Who am I?

Susanna Williams is a seasoned people and organizational development professional with 15+ years of experience driving transformation in mission-driven environments. Most recently prior to joining EBCAP, she served as an independent organizational development consultant, partnering with C-suite leaders at nonprofits and higher education institutions — including Southern New Hampshire University, New York Institute of Technology, and the University Innovation Alliance — to navigate culture change and large-scale organizational transformation. Earlier in her career, she served as an Associate Program Officer on the Post-Secondary Success team at the Gates Foundation and as a Pilot Project Director at Girl Scouts of the USA. She began her career as a classroom teacher in New York City, Worcester, Massachusetts, and Seattle, Washington. Susanna earned a BA in Politics from Earlham College (Richmond, IN) and an MS in Education from Bank Street Graduate School of Education (New York, NY). Susanna also serves on the board of Dorcas International in Providence. She is SPHR certified and holds certificates in HR Data Analytics from Cornell University and Talent Pipeline Management from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
